We
not only met the challenge, but exceeded it at the
2006 Northern Ohio Decorative Concrete Challenge. Our
concrete
beach scene was admired by everyone at the event.
It comprised of hand carved rocks that surrounded a
painted
water effect, with a working light house, and a shoreline
made of pervious concrete (pervious concrete allows
water to drain through it). The real kicker was the
wave machine
that we made that would dump a blast of water across
the "shore" every 15 seconds. The lighthouse
was capped with a real copper roof and copper seagulls
as a finishing touch. All this built in less than
2 days! It was a real honor to participate in this
event
and
work alongside all of the other incredibly talented
contractors here in Ohio.
